I couldn’t believe the absolute care and attention to detail that I received with my purchase. I ordered a keepsake pendant for my mother with fur from our recent doggo who unfortunately passed away from cancer. He was our soul dog, and I wanted my mum to have a piece of him with her forever. As my breastfeeding journey nears the end, I find myself reflecting on the past six months of pumping and breastfeeding the quads. This crazy, rewarding, yet challenging chapter started just moments before my cesarean when two nurses milked me for colostrum, collecting 7.5 ml in 20 minutes. From there, I went from struggling to get 10 ml of milk to pumping nearly 2 liters (sometimes more) per day.
This is a part of my journey that I really wanted to capture and remember. Before my milk is gone forever, I was lucky enough to have some of it made into the most stunning piece of jewellery. Beyond Love Creations created my beautiful breastfeeding ring, allowing me to capture this memory and keep it forever. Not only is this ring a constant reminder of my motherhood, but it is also a timeless piece in my jewellery box.
